Silver Spring deaf and hearing members were happy to witness the rebaptism of Reuben and Allyson Drake by Pastor Trexler on Sabbath, October 26, 2002. The baptism occurred after David's sermon that was voice interpreted by Belinda Simmons. Allyson's parents and siblings attended the service.
The Drakes live in Hagerstown, which is about 60 miles from Silver Spring, but 80 miles for David who visits them weekly. They really appreciate the warm fellowship by the deaf and hearing members at Silver Spring church.
Reuben is seeking computer training in Hagerstown with hope to get a good job. Allyson is currently working part-time for her sister's bakery business in the same town. They need our prayers for their spiritual and economical needs.
