DAY 6 - Boldly Stand for Christ and Follow Him Fully

  • Jan 12
  • 1 min read

This Day 6 reading focuses on boldly standing for Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, using Peter’s transformation at Pentecost as the central example. Participants are invited to reflect on how the Spirit empowered Peter—once fearful and denying Jesus—to preach with courage and clarity, and how the same Spirit can give believers holy boldness today. Ellen White’s insights describe the disciples fearlessly proclaiming Jesus before hostile leaders, filled with zeal, peace, and a deep sense of mission. Families and small groups are encouraged to discuss confidence, pray for the Spirit’s freedom to witness, praise Jesus, confess sins, ask for the Spirit’s blessing, and testify about God’s work in their lives. The church family explores Acts 4 to understand why Peter was fearless and how early believers prayed for boldness. The appeal urges anyone hindered by fear to seek the Spirit’s courage to share Jesus anywhere and at any cost, and the 24‑Hour Challenge invites each person to pray for Christlike courage and share their personal testimony with someone the Spirit leads them to.
