Day 3 - Meet Jesus When He Surprises Us

Day 3 invites believers to reflect on Jesus’ ascension and His promised return by studying passages such as John 14:1–3, Acts 1:9–11, Matthew 24:42–44, and 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18. The readings emphasize that Jesus is personally preparing a place for His followers and will return visibly and triumphantly, just as He ascended. Ellen White describes the beauty of His ascension and the assurance that the same Jesus who walked with the disciples will come again to welcome His people into His kingdom.
