Day 2 - Align with Kingdom Priorities

  • 1 min read

Day 2 focuses on aligning our lives with God’s kingdom priorities by reflecting on Acts 1:6–8, where the disciples were concerned about earthly restoration while Jesus redirected them to the mission of witnessing through the power of the Holy Spirit. Through prayer, Scripture, and activities, families and church groups are invited to surrender personal agendas, seek the Spirit’s guidance, and embrace Christ’s commission to share His message with all people. Ellen White emphasizes that Jesus entrusted His disciples with the treasures of eternal life and called them to actively go to others with the gospel rather than waiting for people to come to them. The day’s worship elements—praise, repentance, asking for the Spirit, testimony, and Scripture reflection—encourage believers to examine their priorities, recognize the gift of time, and center their lives on Christ’s mission. The appeal invites participants to let God reorder their priorities, and the 24‑hour challenge asks each person to honestly list their current top priorities, seek God’s wisdom, and take a practical step toward living according to His kingdom first.
